Fix My Stupid PC! started as an idea while working the phones for Dell Server Support...

...people frequently stated that they weren't knowledgeable about computers and we weren't allowed to refer people to local service providers who could perform the troubleshooting and other steps on the phone with us...

... Thus came the idea... Why not create an online directory of local service providers so that the providers can post who they are, and what they do, and the end users can not only search this database, but see the ratings and comments of other people who have used these service providers before.

... While I was working on the directory portion, it quickly came to my attention that if I created a user community, a store, and a content repository; then the site could be self supporting and a valuable resource to the internet community as a whole...

And here... 3 years later, we embark on the next chapter of our journey... a new server... a clean database... and empty forums... Please help us get things started.
